The Session

Whether it's a budget session or a premium session, we come to you, get our camera out, and follow you around for an hour or so. And, well, that's it. If you want to spend the time posing, that's fine. But if you'd rather just get on with your day, that's also fine. We don't have backdrops, we don't have studio lights, it's just a photographer and his camera and the aim is to get candid, natural shots of you and your family doing what it is you do best - whatever you want.

The Cost

Budget sessions are £30, premium sessions are £200. If you live within 10 miles of us, then that's all you pay. If you're further away, then you'll also have to pay a travel fee. The session fee and the travel fee (if it applies) are the only things you pay on the day. The travel fee is £0.50p per mile for the first 150 miles of a round trip and £0.16p per mile after that. The first 20 miles are free. We use maps.google.co.uk to work out mileage. So you can work out any likely travel fee, our postcode is GU30 7HA.

After the Session

We'll go away and work on the photos. When we have about 60-80 that we think you'll like (usually, about a week after the session) we'll upload them to our website and send you an email with details of how to access them. Your online gallery is personal to you and is password protected, so only you have access to it.

We know that some photographers insist on coming back to see you again with the proofs and try to pressure you into buying there and then. Maybe there are some of you out there that like that. Personally, we've never been keen on the hard sell, so we keep it all online.

Ordering and Paying

Once you've decided which prints or other merchandise you want (and we have some great stuff, even if we do say so ourselves) you can order and pay online. We accept online payments by both credit card (via WorldPay) and PayPal. If you prefer you can pay by cheque, although please be aware that we won't be able to send you out your order until the cheque clears. Credit card and PayPal payments are immediate.

Processing your order

We'll start processing your order as soon as we get it. As a general rule, prints will be with you around 14 working days from the date we get cleared funds (so if you order and pay online, 14 working days from then). You should allow a further 7 - 14 working days for other merchandise or canvas prints, or 28 working days for a PhotoBook.

Flexibility

If there's something particular you want, let us know. Basic retouching (getting rid of the odd spot or converting from colour to black & white, say) is included in the price. Anything more complex (say, converting your living room to a high key white background or some fiddly spot colouring) is charged at £15 per hour or part thereof.

We want you to come back to us again and again - and we think you'll want to. In fact, we think you'll like what we do so much that you'll want to tell your friends all about us. If you do, then for any sessions booked as a result of one of your recommendations we'll give you another free 8x10 print from your session as a thank you.
